Anthem Asia Invests in Rangoon Tea House

Anthem Asia had made an investment in Rangoon Tea House Group to support the expansion of the iconic Yangon-based restaurant and lifestyle group.
The independent investment and advisory group mentioned in its announcement released on September 23rd that the group will be able to expand its award-winning Rangoon Tea House restaurant  and catering business as well develop new concepts and brands due to the partnership between them.
The restaurant was founded by Htet Myet Oo, named in Forbes Asia’s Under 30 Young Entrepreneurs in 2016, and it is co-owned by Isabella Sway-Tin and Simon Sao.
“We are delighted to back founder Htet Myet Oo, co-owners such as Isabella Sway-Tin and Simon Sao, and the RTH team, and their ambitious plans to create a flagship Myanmar brand,” said Josephine Price, co-founder and managing director of Anthem Asia.
Htet Myet Oo also said “With Anthem Asia as a partner, we will be able to accelerate our growth, enabling us to expand our current operations and roll out new services.”
The restaurant was opened in late 2014 in downtown Yangon and has offered traditional Myanmar dishes with food products available in Myanmar.
 It is currently developing a larger restaurant and a Myanmar cocktail bar and targets to open them in coming November.
