Best Western opens third hotel in Myanmar
Arizona based Best Western Hotels and Resorts has started its operation in Shan State by opening a hotel at a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Inle Lake.
The company announced that ‘Best Western Thousand Island Hotel’ is built on the riverfront of Nyaung Shwe, the city near the Inle Lake and also the transportation gateway to the lake, and located about 28 km from Heho Airport.
“Myanmar is one of Asia’s, and the world’s, most exciting new tourism destinations, and we are delighted to have secured another high-quality hotel in this fascinating country,” said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western’s Managing Director of International Operations - Asia.
Besides the rooms with comfortable beds, the hotel also includes hot tub, billiard room, riverfront café and rooftop bar.
Before the hotel in Inle Lake, Best Western opened ‘Best Western Green Hill Hotel’ and ‘Best Western Chinatown Hotel’ in downtown Yangon.
