Government plans to implement all-in-one markets
Authorities are preparing to be able to open one stop service markets in three big cities to support tourism development, according to 7 Day report.
Planning and finance minister Kyaw Win said the markets will include various shops, which will sell handicrafts, traditional costumes and traditional food , in one place to develop the country’s tourism.
During the meeting between the vice president and local businessmen on April 10, the minister said one-stop service markets are set to be opened in Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyitaw.
The ministry plans to start the negotiation on the plan in May by collaborating with the related state and regional governments and ministry of hotels and tourism.
