One of Myanmar’s private airlines Air KBZ will start its first international operation by flying to Chiang Mai in Thailand on December 2, according to the local newspaper 7 Day.

The airline will operate flights between Yangon and Chiang Mai three times a week with $99 for a return trip.

The flight was planned to start in November but the negotiation with Thailand side delayed the operation for one month.

At the moment, only national flag carrier MNA is operating flights to Chiang Mai and Air KBZ will become second airline from Myanmar to fly between Yangon and Chiang Mai.
