Two more Hilton hotels to be opened
US-based hotel operator Hilton Worldwide has collaborated with local conglomerate, Eden Group, to build two hotels in Myanmar investing $130 million.
According to Nikkei, the two hospitality properties will be implemented in Myanmar’s ancient city, Bagan, and Inle Lake, a well-known tourist destination of Shan State.
Both hotels have 150 to 200 rooms and are expected to open as early as 2018.
Hilton and Eden Group agreed to make partnership for five projects.
So far, Hilton brand hotels have been opened in Naypyitaw and Naapali beach in Rakhine State.
