Zaykabar Company is planning to construct a private heritage museum to preserve the country’s heritages , local newspaper The Voice reported.

Khin Shwe, chairman of Zaykabar Company, said the company will spend $10 million for the private museum which will showcase primates, ancient domestic wares, paintings and other antiques.

The construction of the museum is targeted to complete this year and a French architect will draw the museum design.

"I have collected many ancient things. I have even bought some Myanmar antiques which were taken from the country illegally and sold in the black market. I want to show all these for the history of the country," Khin Shwe said.
