Myanmar-China Hotels and Tourism Vocational Training Course

The first Myanmar-China Hotels and Tourism Vocational Training Course aiming to boost Myanmar-China tourism has begun. It was opened by Myanmar-China tourism working committee who chose 30 staff members working at restaurants and hotels and it was organized by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy of Myanmar. Deputy Head of the tourism department of Dehong Vocational Collage of Yunan, China will give lessons on food preparing services. ‘There will be more job opportunities as the tourism sector develops. This is the very first training. If this course goes successfully, the embassy will try to organize more training courses in other places,’ said Mr.

Chen, Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister-counselor. The opening ceremony of the China-Myanmar Hotels and Tourism Vocational Training Course was held on 13th September at Myanmar Sports Hotel in Thingungyun Township, Yangon. The duration of the course is 30 days.
